UM Men's Group Fundraisers

Gear up for Maker Fun Factory

It’s my most favorite time of the year…. Nothing Makes You Happy

Winter Wednesdays There are so many opportunities for worship in our church. This winter I’m offering the chance to learn through Christian speakers from around the world. On Wednesday nights after the JOLT meal at 6:30pm, we’ll be listening/watching a series on What Makes you Happy. Disciple New Testament a 12 week overview of the New Testament. We have two groups to choose from. They each cover the same material, so choose the one most convenient for your schedule. Both groups meet in the Youth Room. The Tuesday group begins January 24 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. The Thursday group begins January 26 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Women’s Discussion Group is starting a new book, The Murder of Jesus, by John MacArthur. Every month the ministry team visits the men for a hymn sing. For about 30 minutes we sing random hymns chosen by the singers. This choir of sorts is blessed to have an accompanist to help us stay on tune. For six of our visits we bring treats or dessert. The men are remembered on their birthdays, Valentine’s Day, Easter and Christmas with gifts and goodies. For our November visit, which falls near Veteran’s Day, we prepare and serve their noon meal.
