Palm Sunday (March 25, 10:10am)
We remember the Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem during this Sunday worship hour.
Maundy Thursday (March 29, 5:30pm)
We remember the Upper Room experience of Jesus and his disciples. We hear the “new commandment” he gives to his followers (mandatum or “commandment” is where the name comes from). The evening will include a meal of bread, cheese, and fruit at 5:30 followed by Communion and a special Foot Washing Service. You can participate in as little or as much of the evening as you like. This event is family friendly.
Good Friday Tenebrae (March 30, 7:30pm)
Tenebrae means “darkness” or “darkening.” During this time we remember the crucifixion of Jesus through hearing the Story, pounding nails into a cross, and extinguishing all lights in the sanctuary. Worshipers are then encouraged to leave in silence.
Easter/Resurrection Morning (April 1, 10:10am)
Joining with all Christians across the world proclaiming that Christ Is Alive! This morning means so much after attending all the events of the previous week. Everything is light and bright and loud! He is alive, let the earth rejoice!
